Pulp, paper and paperboard - Determination of iron, copper and manganese content

Abstract: 纸浆、纸和纸板中铁、铜和锰的含量可以通过原子吸收光谱法(AAS)或电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法(ICP-OES)进行测定。在AAS法中,样品中的金属离子被离子化为原子,测量吸光度来确定含量;在ICP-OES法中,样品中的金属离子被离子化为等离子体,通过测量发射光谱来计算含量。两种方法均需对样品进行前处理,如溶解、过滤和稀释等。具体操作步骤可参考相关标准,如GB/T 15462-2008(铜的测定)、GB/T 15463-2008(铁的测定)和GB/T 15464-2008(锰的测定),这些标准提供了详细的操作流程和方法。

Determination of iron, copper and manganese in pulp, paper and board is usually done using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) or inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).

  • In the AAS method, the metal in the sample is ionized into atoms, and the intensity of absorbed light is measured.

  • In the ICP-OES method, the metal in the sample is ionized into plasma, and then the spectrum emitted by the plasma is measured. Both methods require pretreatment of the sample, such as dissolution, filtration, dilution, etc.
