There are several methods for the determination of sodium in pulp, paper and board, one of the commonly used methods is as follows:

  2. Instrument preparation: Dilute the sodium standard solution with a concentration of 1mol/L into a working solution of a certain concentration, and use a flame photometer for preheating and calibration.

  3. Determination process: Take a certain volume of sample solution, add a certain amount of working solution and buffer solution, mix, and then use a flame photometer to measure the sodium content in the sample.

  4. Result calculation: Calculate the sodium content in the sample according to the measured sodium content of the sample and the standard solution concentration of sodium.
