Micro-arc oxidation film is a surface treatment technology that can form a layer of ceramic film on the metal surface. The Film Applicator can be used for film application of micro-arc oxidation film.

The steps commonly involved in the method for preparing a micro-arc oxidation film are as follows:
Cleans metal surfaces to remove surface contaminants and oxides.
Dip the metal piece in an electrolyte solution, such as sodium hydroxide or sulfuric acid.
The metal piece is used as an anode, and a direct current is passed through to generate oxygen, form a micro-arc discharge, and form a ceramic film on the metal surface.
The metal parts are removed from the electrolyte solution, cleaned and dried.

The Film Applicator can apply a layer of paint in the electrolyte solution to improve the performance of the MAO film. Coatings can affect film quality and performance by altering ion transport and film growth during MAO.
The thickness and uniformity of the coating film can be controlled by adjusting the coating speed and pressure. After the coating is completed, the sample is taken out from the electrolyte solution, washed and dried to obtain a micro-arc oxidation film.
