Measurement steps:

  1. Clean the aluminum alloy surface to ensure that there is no dirt or dust on the surface to affect the measurement results.

  2. Select the area to be measured on the aluminum alloy surface.

  3. Calibrate according to the instruction manual of the gloss meter.

  4. Place the gloss meter above the measurement area, press the measurement button, and wait for the measurement result. Multiple measurements can be taken and averaged as needed.

  5. Record measurements in appropriate documentation.

  6. When measuring, light interference should be reduced as much as possible, and other light sources should not be introduced into the measurement area. In addition, before taking measurements, make sure that the probe of the gloss meter is parallel to the aluminum alloy surface.
