A scheme for testing the high-low temperature resistance performance of galvanized pipes

Galvanized pipes may change under different temperature environments, such as corrosion, oxidation, shedding, etc., so high-low temperature tests are required to test their resistance. At high temperatures, the galvanized coating may lose its anti-corrosion properties, while at low temperatures, the galvanized coating may become brittle or crack. Through the high-low temperature resistance test, the reliability and performance of the galvanized pipe under different temperature conditions can be determined, so as to ensure its stability and durability in practical applications.

The high-low Temperature Test Chamber can test the galvanized pipe at different temperatures, simulate the use environment of the galvanized pipe under extreme high-low temperature conditions, and detect the change of its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. This test helps manufacturers evaluate the durability and reliability of galvanized pipe in extreme temperature environments.

The plan for testing the high-low temperature resistance of galvanized pipes is shown in Figure 1

experiment procedure

  1. Put the galvanized pipe into the high-low Temperature Test Chamber, make sure its surface is free of any foreign matter and dirt.

  2. Set the high-low Temperature Test Chamber to the specified temperature range, and keep it for a period of time to achieve temperature stability.

  3. After the temperature has stabilized, the galvanized pipe is taken out and inspected. Electronic Thickness Gauges or other testing equipment can be used to detect the thickness of the galvanized layer on the surface of the galvanized pipe, and at the same time check whether there are traces of oxidation or corrosion on the surface of the pipe.

  4. Repeat the above steps to test in different temperature ranges. Usually the test temperature can be set from -40°C to 80°C or higher.

  5. According to the test results, the performance change of the galvanized pipe under extreme temperature environment is evaluated, so as to guide the improvement and optimization of the product.

  6. NBCHAO reminds you: when the high-low Temperature Test Chamber is used for the high-low temperature resistance test of galvanized pipes, it is necessary to select different temperature ranges and test time according to different test requirements, and to strictly abide by relevant safety regulations and operating procedures.
