Polyvinyl chloride is a widely used plastic, usually divided into two types: soft and hard. Plastic surfaces often need to be painted, such as adding color to PVC drawing toys, PVC film printing, and painting decoration can obtain economical and pleasing effects. Its coating method is as follows:
(1) Surface treatment
①The surface of rigid polyvinyl chloride plastic can be treated with ethylenically unsaturated monomers. Examples of such monomers are vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylic acid, and the like. Dip in this type of monomer for a few minutes, then remove to dry.
② Soft polyvinyl chloride will harden due to exudation of plasticizers or volatilization after exposure to sunlight. Irradiation with ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 200-350 nanometers can form a high-density cross-linked polyvinyl chloride resin layer on the surface of the product, which can effectively prevent the exudation of plasticizers. The treated polyvinyl chloride is then painted with paint, which can also prevent the plasticizer from being extracted by solvents.
(2) Paint selection
①X04-5 vinyl chloride enamel of various colors is commonly used in rigid polyvinyl chloride plastics. This kind of paint has bright colors, flexible paint film, good adhesion to polyvinyl chloride, and is suitable for brushing. The paint can be coated with cyclohexanone dilution.
② Polyvinyl chloride film can choose G01-9 perchlorethylene printing varnish, which is specially used for the printing of polyvinyl chloride film. The construction is mainly roller coating, and the viscosity can be adjusted with X-3 perchlorethylene paint thinner.
NBCHAO recommends that you can use wire Bar Coater or wet film preparer to prepare paint film.
