Achromatic, also known as achromatic or grayscale, refers to colors that have no hue or saturation, i.e. black and white and gray. They are usually composed of mixed colors of the same amount of black, white, and gray.
In areas such as Visual Identity and printing, achromatic is often used to create toned or neutral-toned graphics and images to emphasize the vibrancy and contrast of other colors. In these areas, the use of achromatic can make designs more concise, professional, and easy to read. In addition, achromatic is also used to make effects such as shadows, gradual changes, and textures of graphics and images to increase the depth and three-dimensionality of graphics.
Matting can often be created by mixing black, white and gray together. By controlling the mixing ratio and the brightness and contrast of the colors, it is possible to create matting of different shades and shades. In digital graphics and image processing software, various matting and grey release options are often provided to easily create and edit matting effects.
