Container coating covering power detection

Hiding power refers to the minimum amount of paint applied evenly on the surface of the object so that the background color no longer appears, expressed in g/m2.

Hiding power is one of the important indicators of the performance of mass-produced coatings, and excellent coatings should have better hiding power. Coating products of the same quality, with high hiding power, can coat more areas under the same construction conditions than products with low propensity.

The hiding power of the paint product is the effect of the difference in the reflection coefficient of the pigment and the paint on the light. Therefore, when the paint is constant, the hiding power of the paint depends on the strength of the pigment hiding power. (Related instruments: hiding power paper)
