Casting coating is a special coating applied in the casting process, mainly used for coating the surface of the casting mold to protect the mold, adjust the surface quality of castings and improve the casting process. Foundry coatings have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and are widely used in the production of castings in foundry automobile, machinery, electronics and other industries.

Detailed description:

  1. Viscosity detection: use a viscometer to pour the paint into the measuring cup, measure its motion resistance, and select the corresponding measurement conditions for testing according to different viscometer models and paint types.

  2. Rheological testing: Use a rheometer to test the dynamic rheological properties of coatings, understand its rheological properties and rheological laws, and select appropriate rheometer test conditions according to different types of coatings and application scenarios.

  3. Solid content detection: apply the paint on a weighed baking tray, put it in an oven, and dry it at a certain temperature and time, weigh the weight of the baking tray and the paint, and calculate the solid content of the paint.

  4. Drying time detection: Apply the paint evenly on the test panel, let it dry naturally at room temperature, determine different drying times according to different types and thicknesses of the paint, and use a room temperature timer to record the drying time.

  5. Heat resistance test: Use a thermogravimetric analyzer to heat the coating at high temperature to understand its thermal stability and heat resistance, and select corresponding test conditions for testing according to different coating types and application scenarios.

  6. Corrosion resistance detection: use a corrosion Tester to conduct corrosion tests on coatings to understand their corrosion resistance, and select corresponding test conditions for testing according to different corrosion test methods and coating types.
