Using Mayer Rods and Black and White Grid Paper to Judge the Compatibility of Tinter Coatings

To judge the compatibility of color paste and paint, the experience in the industry is to use the finger research method. The operation steps are as follows:

Step 1: Add the largest proportion of color paste to the latex paint (you can also choose the toned latex paint), and stir it evenly with a magnetic stirrer to be tested;

Step 3: Before the surface is dry, use your fingers to gently rotate and wipe off the paint film on the cardboard;

Step 4: Dry the sample paint on the black and white lined paper through a Drying Oven (temporary test can also use a hair dryer); observe with the naked eye whether there is a color difference between the wiped and unwiped parts, and if there is a color difference, it proves that the color paste and latex paint are in phase Compatibility is not good, anyway, the compatibility between the two is considered to be good.
