Application of colorant

The coloring agent is a coloring paint that can show wood texture and achieve a transparent effect, which is prepared by coloring substances (pigments, dyes) and solvents, or solvents and base materials. The content of coloring agent Shen pigment and dyestuff is less. Materials containing a large amount of coloring substances are paints, blended paints, enamel paints and other paints, which can hide wood textures or objects.

Colorants can be divided according to their properties: water-based colorants, oil-based colorants, resin colorants, etc.; according to their colors, they can be divided into red, yellow, blue, white, black and various colors. Generally speaking, the colorants introduced here are divided into two categories according to the decoration process: the first category is the bottom colorant (also known as the basic colorant), such as water old pink, oily old pink, etc. The second category is coating colorant, such as shellac colorant (wine color), yellow (or black) nano powder colorant (water color) and so on.

①Water-based old powder colorant, referred to as water-based old powder, is made of water, old powder (also known as calcium carbonate, stone powder, sanfei powder, heavy calcium carbonate, large white powder, chalk, etc.), and coloring pigments. Water powder is characterized by using water as the thinner agent, coloring with frequency materials, city fillers and other main materials, and drying when the water evaporates. ②Oil-based old powder colorant is formulated from old powder, rosin water, phenolic varnish and coloring pigments. Oil energy powder coloring agent (referred to as oil old powder), uses pine water as the diluent, uses coloring material as the main color, and dries naturally at room temperature, but the drying time is related to the temperature, and the wood texture is clear.

③Shellac colorant (referred to as wine color) is made of shellac, alcohol, and color (dye) materials. It has the characteristics of fast drying, delamination and clearness, but the gloss is not obvious, and the water resistance and temperature resistance are poor.

④Yellow (or black) sodium powder colorant is referred to as water color, which is made by dissolving and filtering yellow and black sodium powder with boiling water. According to the color, ink can be added to increase the depth. It takes water as diluent, dyes as main coloring, dry by moisture surface, bright in color, clear wood texture, but the colored coating will be covered and protected by shellac varnish layer.
