Calibration of the ISO outFlow Cup
(1) OutFlow Cups with different apertures have the following correction formulas.
3mm outFlow Cup: ν=0.443t-(200/t)
4mm outFlow Cup : ν=1.37t-(200/t)
5mtn outFlow Cup : ν=3.28t-(220/t)
6mm outFlow Cup : ν=6.90t-(570/t)
(2) When calibrating the outFlow Cup, standard oil with known kinematic viscosity should be used, and the curve of kinematic viscosity versus temperature should be given according to the data provided by the standard oil.
(3) Then measure the outflow time of the standard oil at a known temperature in the range of 20~30°C (accurate to 0.1°C), and record the outflow time. It should be within the range of 30~100s, which is better close to this (4) Find the kinematic viscosity of the standard oil at this temperature from the drawn curve. Use the correction formula above to calculate the outflow corresponding to this kinematic viscosity. Time,, (5) The calibration curve of each outFlow Cup can also be drawn by the calibration formula, as shown in Figure 1-1-26 to Day 1-1-29, and the corresponding outflow time of the standard oil can be found from the figure, and compared The obtained two outflow times are the same, and the difference between the two values is not more than 3% of their average value, which means that the outFlow Cup is suitable for use.
