The HBDV-1H rotary high temperature viscometer is suitable for the viscosity determination of a variety of plastic particle materials, including but not limited to asphalt, hot melt adhesive, polyethylene wax, etc. The operation process is as follows:
(1) Pour the sample to be tested into the specified sample container;
(2) Adjust the ambient temperature to the desired temperature (such as 80°C) and keep it stable;
(3) Select the appropriate rotor model (one of 21#, 27#, 28#, 29#);
(4) Start the instrument and adjust the rotation speed to the target value (such as 52.5%);
(5) Observe the real-time data on the digital display screen, and record the viscosity value and temperature value.
A plastic pellet production plant used the HBDV-1H rotary high-temperature viscometer to determine the viscosity of a new polyethylene wax material. The results of the test are as follows:
