Painting quality control process introduction

The quality of the coating is related to many factors. To obtain a coating with excellent quality? It is necessary to have qualified surface treatment, good quality coating, correct coating process, mature coating technology, etc. The quality control of coating engineering includes the formulation of coating quality requirements, quality inspection, quality information feedback and complete coating protection and other comprehensive quality management in the whole process.

(1) Document preparation: Inspectors should be familiar with surface pretreatment, coating application requirements, inspection experimental requirements and relevant standards, and the characteristics of the materials to be coated. The following documents should be collected and fully studied:

①Technical specifications (including revisions and related accessories);

② Relevant regulations and standards (including testing standards, acceptance standards, etc.);

③Instructions for the factory building (including paint and coating equipment, etc.);

④Supplier's coating procedures (including coating design drawings, coating design process, coating schedule, etc.);

⑤ Instructions for use of testing instruments, etc.

(2) Testing instruments: The technical specifications and national standards will stipulate the required inspection tests, as well as the corresponding inspection instruments and equipment. Commonly used inspection instruments are as follows:

① Thermometer-air thermometer and surface thermometer;

②Hygrometer;

③ Surface profiler or comparator;

④ paint viscometer;

⑤ Thickness gauge - wet Film Thickness Gauge and dry Film Thickness Gauge;

⑥Flash and small magnifying glass;

⑦ coating gloss, color testing equipment;

⑧ Adhesion Tester.

(3) Coating quality control: The inspection point depends on the coating material and the type and nature of the work. The specific inspection plan is shown in Table 4_5_22.

(4) Painting quality control form: Taking Table 4_5_23 as an example, the painting quality control record form that needs to be filled in the painting process is designed , and this record shall prevail, and the corresponding national standards and construction design requirements shall be compared by reference.
