Air spraying equipment mainly includes Air Compressors, oil-water separators, Spray Guns, air hoses connecting the Air Compressors and Spray Guns, and paint tanks. If it is a large-scale construction, it should also be equipped with a spray booth with an exhaust device.
The maximum air pressure generated by the Air Compressor used in spraying construction is above 0.7MPa. Its capacity is determined according to the total air consumption of all Spray Guns, and the spraying pressure of each Spray Gun should always be kept at 0.35~0.6MPa. In order to prevent the oil and water in the compressed air from causing adverse effects on the coating film, during use, the drain hole of the air storage tank should be opened every day to drain the oil and water mixed in the compressed air. separator to purify the compressed air.
When performing batch operations, a paint booster tank should be configured. The volume of the tank is generally between 20~ 100L, and the pressure applied to the paint is between 0.15~0.30MPa. Stirring and heat exchange devices are arranged in the pressurized tank. The purpose of stirring is to prevent the paint from settling. The heat exchanger is used to keep the temperature of the paint constant to ensure that the paint has a constant and suitable viscosity during the construction process.
It is the most critical part of air spraying, and its function is to spray the paint into a paint mist. This will be specifically introduced later.
