1. Purpose

In order to ensure the normal operation of the instrument and ensure the reliability of the results, this operating procedure is specially formulated.

2. Scope of application

laboratory

3. Responsibility

Laboratory technicians should strictly follow the operating procedures, and the QC supervisor is responsible for supervising the implementation of the procedures.

4. Definition

none

5. Safety Precautions

Avoid opening the oven door under vacuum.

6. Procedures

6.1 Set temperature

6.1.1 Pre-set the temperature of the vacuum oven before use, turn on the power, and the power indicator light will be on.

6.1.2 Turn the thermostat to set the temperature according to the specified temperature under each drug item. The heating indicator light is on, indicating that the instrument is in the heating state, and the oven temperature is stable. The heating indicator light is not on, which proves that the instrument has stopped heating. Check the temperature again and adjust the thermostat until the temperature reaches the set value.

6.1.3 Turn off the power and let the oven cool down. If the sample is ready, it can be placed directly.

6.2 Put in the sample

6.2.1 Open the oven door and put in the sample (Note: Do not put flammable solvents, water vapor or acid liquid in the vacuum oven, and do not exceed the ignition point of the sample when heating).

6.2.2 When the oven door is opened, apply vacuum oil on the sealing frame, close the oven door, and turn on the power.

6.3 Vacuuming

6.3.1 Connect the Vacuum Pump to the vacuum drying box with an appropriate hose, turn the vacuum degree knob to "EVACUATE" to start the Vacuum Pump.

6.3.2 When the display value of the Vacuum Pump measuring instrument is stable at an appropriate value, turn the knob to "CLOSED" and turn off the Vacuum Pump.

6.4 Vacuum release: Take off the connecting pipe connecting the oven and the pump, and slowly turn the vacuum degree knob to "PURGE", and the whole release process should be slow.

6.5 Take out the sample: After the vacuum is released, turn off the power. Open the oven door to take out the sample.

6.6 Fill in the usage records (see Appendix 1).
