What are the advantages of the design of Aikop ultrapure water systems?

1. The design of the circulation loop

A professional serpentine distribution system is adopted to completely avoid any dead water end or corner, and to control the chemical quality and bacterial content that actually affect the point of use. For long delivery circuits that cause high pressure drop, fixed-point pressurization is adopted on the pipeline to ensure the flow rate and pressure at each point of use.

2. Flow rate design of serpentine circulation loop

Improper flow rate will lead to the growth of biofilm in the transmission and distribution circuit. When selecting the correct pipeline according to the flow rate, the maximum water discharge rate at the point of use must be considered. Generally, the flow rate of the transmission circuit is the maximum instantaneous water discharge rate at the point of use multiplied by 1.3~1.5 is calculated.

Studies have confirmed that no biofilm will grow if the flow rate is greater than 0.7m/s. The flow rate of the main pipe is 3.0m/s, and it is generally recommended to maintain it at 1.5m/s to reduce the formation of biofilm on the inner wall of the delivery pipeline.

3. Material selection of transmission and distribution system

The material selection of the transmission and distribution system is an important consideration. The material of the system first needs to have stable chemical and physical properties, and no leachables will be released, polluting pure water and ultra-pure water. Ultrapure water is highly corrosive, and the material of the transmission and distribution system needs to have excellent corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance.

4. Selection of point-of-use water valve and its accessories

When selecting a point-of-use valve and its accessories, careful consideration needs to be given to whether it will back-contaminate the distribution circuit. It is better to use a diaphragm valve at the point of use, and pay attention to the cleaning of the diaphragm valve.

5. Selection of pipe material

Taiwan, CHINA-made UPVC has been successfully used for many years in liquid conveying and discharge systems. The stable physical and chemical properties of UPVC are very suitable for transporting pure water or ultrapure water, and can also meet the harsh operating environment.

UPVC pipe fittings are different from metal pipe fittings. They are light in weight, smooth inside, no rust, no fouling, good corrosion resistance and chemical resistance, easy construction, adopt cold glue fusion method, the joints are not easy to leak, and the pipe wall is thick. The method of burying pipes in the wall can avoid ultraviolet radiation, so that the service life of UPVCSCH.80 pipe fittings can be as long as more than 30 years.

6. Pipeline pretreatment

Passivation will be carried out before start-up after the installation of the ECOPU transmission and distribution system: the purpose of passivation is to enrich the inner surface of the pipeline with chromium to increase corrosion resistance.
