Preparation of UV curing Coatings for PET Film Using OSP coating rod prepative

Ma Yinghui, Chen Fanzhong, Gong Lifang and Liu Lirong from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Foshan Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment R & D Center in "Preparation and Coating Performance Research of UV-curable Coatings for PET Films" In this paper, the preparation and coating performance of UV-curable coatings for PET films were carried out with polyurethane methacrylate (PUA) as the main body. PUA oligomers were screened, and the effects of oligomer structure on the adhesion, hardness and flexibility of the coating were discussed, as well as the types, proportions and dosages of active diluents and photoinitiators on the properties of the coating. influence.

The instrument and experimental equipment use the OSP wire rod coater as the coating preparation tool. They use the OSP-06 coating rod to evenly coat the UV-curable coating on the PET film, bake it at 80 ℃ for 20~ 30s, and then under the UV light curing lamp. UV curing is carried out, and the curing time is about 15s to obtain a hardened coating for PET film. Control the dry film thickness to be about 3~ 4μm. Then test the coating performance.

And the research conclusion is drawn: the reasonable ratio between oligomers, active diluents and photoinitiators has an important influence on the properties of the coating.
