A method for troubleshooting civil aircraft air source system

Aiming at the fault phenomenon of bleed air overheating in the air source system of a certain type of civil aircraft, Bai Bin, Huang Xiaodan, and Huo Xiheng from the Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute of COMAC introduced detailed methods in the paper "A Method for Troubleshooting the Air Source System of Civil Aircraft" The fault phenomenon, and combined with the configuration of the air source system and the overheat detection system, the possible fault causes were analyzed . It also analyzed the infeasibility of using temperature sensors in the air source system of civil aircraft, and proposed to use temperature measuring paper to track the temperature and troubleshoot. It also implemented the actual operation practice and verified its feasibility, which is simple and effective.

Practice shows that this troubleshooting method using temperature measuring paper is simple to operate, easy to implement, has engineering practical value, and can also be used in other engineering practices related to temperature.
