Xia Liying introduced the principle of magnetic fluid seal in her paper "Study on the Mechanism of Magnetic Fluid Seal of High-speed Disperser Spindle". Applied to the GFJ-0.4 high-speed disperser, the sealing performance of the high-speed disperser is obviously improved after use.
Summary: Advantages of magnetic fluid seals: 1. Basically no leakage; 2. No wear and long life. 3. It has sealing ability at both low speed and high speed. 4. There is no special requirement for the environment and no pollution. 5. The magnetic fluid also has a lubricating effect.
