Feng Haibing and other professionals from the CHINA Academy of Building Materials Science introduced in their paper "The Effect of Titanium Dioxide Sol Content on the Performance of Wear-resistant Coatings" that organic siloxanes were used as precursors, and the sol-gel method combined flow The organic/inorganic wear-resistant coating was prepared on the surface of PMMA by flat method, and the effect of the content of titanium dioxide sol on the hardness, scratch resistance and wear resistance of the wear-resistant coating was studied. Using NDJ-1 Rotational Viscometer, WGFS transparent Optical ratio/haze Tester, Taber5151 abrasion Tester, etc. were used to analyze and characterize the performance of the coating.
The results show that after adding titania sol, titanium atoms replace part of the silicon atoms, so that the formed organic-inorganic three-dimensional network structure containing Si-O-Ti is better than the organic-inorganic three-dimensional network structure containing only Si-O-Si. The wear-resistant coating performance of the structure is more excellent.
