12 points for the use and maintenance of laboratory high shear Mulser

1. The laboratory emulsifying machine adopts a one-way three-wire system. The required power socket specification is 220V, 10A three-hole socket, and the socket needs to have good grounding. Be careful not to wrongly connect the ground wire (it is strictly forbidden to lead the ground wire to the telephone line, water pipe, gas pipe and lightning rod line).

2. Check whether the screws in each part are loose before use, and tighten them in time.

3. After the machine is powered on, the speed is adjusted by a turntable. Turn right to increase speed, and turn left to slow down. After the work is completed, please reduce the speed and return to stop. (Note: The speed displayed by the governor may fluctuate slightly when the hand is released, which is normal and does not affect the use).

4. Note: It is strictly forbidden for the mixing head of this machine to run away from the material.

5. For the working head stator configured on this machine, the appropriate stator should be selected for the experiment according to the requirements of the experiment. For mixed emulsification of medium and low viscosity liquids, medium and small particles should be crushed and dissolved, and round hole stators should be selected; for high viscosity liquids mixed and emulsified, large particles should be crushed and dissolved, and long hole stator heads should be selected.

6. Steps to replace the stator: first use a wrench (attached with the machine) to unscrew the three nuts on the mixing head cover, remove the outer stator ring, remove the stator to be replaced, and then put the newly replaced stator on the positioning step. Then install the outer stator ring, tighten the three nuts evenly and synchronously, and turn the rotor shaft by hand, there should be no periodic loosening.

7. After the machine is finished working, return the governor to 0, turn off the power switch, cut off the power supply, and pull out the plug.

8. After using the machine, it should be cleaned in time.

9. After the machine has been used for a period of time or stopped for a long time, maintenance and inspection should be carried out before use, especially in terms of electrical safety performance, the insulation resistance can be tested with a megohmmeter.

10. The brush on the motor of this machine is a vulnerable part, and the user should check it frequently. When checking, please cut off the power, pull out the plug, unscrew the brush cover, and pull out the brush. If the brush is found to be shorter than 6mm, it should be replaced immediately. (A pair of brushes is included in the package). The newly replaced brush should use the original specification brush, and should move freely in the brush (frame) tube to prevent it from being stuck in the tube, causing a large electric spark or the motor does not run.

11. If abnormal noise is found when the machine is working, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, and then restarted after troubleshooting.

12. When using this machine, if the motor does not run, you should first check whether the power socket has power; whether the connector is loose; whether the brush is in good contact; whether the rotor and stator of the stirring head are stuck. If it still cannot operate normally after eliminating the above faults, please ask a professional to repair or contact our after-sales service department. Do not ask people who are not familiar with the performance of the machine to disassemble it, so as to avoid accidents.
