"Research and Application of Polyurea Aviation Grease" was written by two scholars Xi Ying and Yang Wenyi from the Air Force Oil Research Institute. It briefly described the research and development status of urea aviation grease and compared polyurea grease and Properties of other types of grease. The following table lists some typical properties of urea grease and other types of grease.
Several characteristics of polyurea grease are also summarized, including good heat resistance and oxidation stability, good low temperature performance, good rust resistance and water resistance, good compatibility, and long service life.
The study on improving the shear stability of polyurea grease and the application of several polyurea aviation greases (including 931 high-temperature aviation grease, 932 low-temperature general aviation grease, and 933 aviation instrument grease) were further introduced.
