High-pressure airless spraying does not need to use air to atomize the paint, but directly applies high pressure to the paint to atomize the paint when it is sprayed. High-pressure airless spraying equipment consists of power, high-pressure pump, pressure accumulation filter, paint delivery pipe and Spray Gun (Figure 6-7).

There are usually three types of power, compressed air, power supply and oil pressure. That is to say, according to different power sources, it can be divided into three types: pneumatic pump, hydraulic pump and electric pump. Compressed air is a common power source because it is relatively simple and safe. The power mode of power supply and oil pressure is more convenient and flexible in some cases. Pneumatic pumps are the most common form. It is powered by compressed air, the pressure is usually 0. 3~0. 7MPa, and the pressure of the compressed air is adjusted through the pressure reducing valve to control the pressure of the paint.
The American Greco (GRACO) high-pressure airless paint spray pump is currently the most . The GRACO King series has four pump pressure ratios: 45: 1, 56: 1, 68: 1 and 80: 1. It is especially suitable for modern Heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, suitable for anti-corrosion coating industries such as steel structures, ships, marine engineering, and containers. In CHINA, the most widely used pump is the Changjiang brand series paint spray pump of Chongqing Changjiang Machinery Factory. The common models are shown in Table 6-2. Changjiang pump is known for its small size and flexibility, and it can spray traditional paint and heavy-duty anti-corrosion paint.
