Floor painting method of painting

1. Brush

Brushing refers to the method of manually using a paint brush to pick up paint to paint the ground. Its advantages are: simple tools, easy construction, easy to master, strong flexibility, strong applicability, and paint saving; for corners, grooves, machine equipment bases and other special positions and narrow areas, where other construction methods are difficult to paint, Often use manual brushing method construction. Before large-scale painting, generally the above-mentioned parts should be painted 1-2 times first, and the width should be extended by more than 30cm, so as to facilitate lap joints during large-scale construction. Brushing will not form (paint mist), less pollution to the construction environment, high utilization rate of paint, and less waste. The disadvantages of brushing are: manual operation, low production efficiency and high labor intensity. For coatings with fast drying and poor leveling properties, brush marks and uneven film thickness are likely to be left by brushing, which will affect the flatness and decorative effect of the coating film.

2. Rolling

Roller painting (roller painting) refers to the method of using a roller to pick up the paint and roll the paint on the floor surface. It is very suitable for floor paint, and a large number of thin floor paint is used for construction. The stick coating construction method is suitable for large-area floor coating. Its outstanding advantages are: a long support rod can be connected to the handle of the stick, and long-distance operations can be carried out during construction. No paint mist will be formed during rolling coating, less pollution to the construction environment, high paint utilization rate, and less waste. Although the construction benefit is much higher than that of brushing, it is lower than that of spraying.

3. Scratch coating

Scraping (spartula) (including Juntu) is a construction method for thick-film coating of viscous paints using metal or non-metallic scrapers (including mantle knives). Generally used for coating putty and hole filling agent. The non-dissolving self-leveling floor coating is applied by a toothed knife or a material rake . The scraping construction method itself is relatively simple, easy to learn and understand. However, due to the thicker , it will directly affect the flatness and smoothness of the coating surface, which is related to the amount of grinding of the middle coating, and also related to the coating quality such as the decorative effect of the top coating. . Therefore , the technique of scraping construction operators must be correct and skilled, and the basic skills must be solid.

4 spraying

Spraying is a coating method in which the paint is atomized into mist, dispersed and deposited to form a uniform coating film. The construction efficiency is high, especially suitable for large-area coating, and a flat, smooth and beautiful high-quality coating film can be obtained. High-pressure airless spraying can apply high- viscosity coatings such as high-solid content The disadvantage of spraying is that the paint mist formed by the atomization of the paint will seriously pollute the environment, and if the labor protection is not proper, it will cause great harm to the construction personnel. The utilization rate of paint is low and the waste is large.

The spraying methods suitable for floor coating mainly include compressed air spraying (airspra-ying) and high-pressure airless spraying (airlessspraying), which are referred to as air spraying and airless spraying respectively.

(1) Air spraying The main equipment for air spraying is an Air Compressor and a Spray Gun. It is a construction method that uses compressed air to form a negative pressure at the nozzle of the Spray Gun to take the paint out of the paint can, atomize it into mist, and apply it to the ground. The air spraying equipment is simple, easy to operate, good workability and high coating efficiency. The sprayed coating film is uniform and beautiful, and the decorative effect is good. It is suitable for spraying solvent-based low-viscosity floor coatings. The disadvantage is that the paint needs to be adjusted in proportion before spraying, and the viscosity must be adjusted to a suitable level, so the operation is more complicated; the coating formed by one spraying is relatively thin, and multiple coats are required; there is a considerable part of the paint mist during spraying It will drift and be lost with the air; the paint and solvent diffused in the air are harmful to the human body and the environment; when the construction environment is poorly ventilated, there is a danger of fire.

(2) Airless spraying High-pressure airless spraying is that the paint is pressurized by a booster pump, passes through the nozzle of the Spray Gun at high speed, and at the same time as it collides with the air, the high pressure is released sharply, the volume of the solvent expands and vaporizes violently, and the paint is dispersed and atomized. High-speed coating on the surface of the object to be coated. Because it uses high pressure to atomize the paint liquid, it is also called high-pressure airless spraying.

The advantages of high-pressure air spraying are: high production efficiency, which is several times to ten times higher than air spraying; it can spray high-viscosity (such as high solid content, solvent-free) coatings, and can form thicker coating films at one time, especially suitable for The thick film coating of the floor, and is widely used in the construction of the floor coating; eliminates the coating film defects caused by air spraying due to water, oil, dust and other pollutants brought in by the compressed air; the paint is sprayed to the surface of the coated object at high speed , It can also improve the adhesion strength of the coating film.

The disadvantages of high-pressure airless spraying are: the volatilized solvent and paint mist are harmful to the human body and the environment; it is only suitable for large-area and thick-coating construction.
