How to use the Air Compressor comfortably and effectively?

  • Please choose a place with less impurities and dust.

  • Please use it in a place where the ambient temperature is 0~40°C and there is no corrosive gas.

  • Please install it in a place that is convenient for maintenance and inspection.

  • Please install it in a place with little indoor humidity.

  • Please install it in a place where there are no explosive gas, flammable gas (acetylene, propane gas, etc.) and flammable materials nearby.

  • Please choose a place with a level and solid foundation, and set it firmly on the ground to avoid loosening.

  • When 2~3 units are running side by side, please leave an interval of more than 1m before installing.

The following is the installation space diagram of the Iwata Air Compressor and the relevant parameter table of the SLPJ series Air Compressor

Safety Precautions

1. About the use object of the compressor

  • Do not use in respirator systems that inhale compressed air directly. (Otherwise, it may cause serious harm to the human body.)

  • The compression part of the oil-free compressor is not coated with lubricating oil, so in principle, there is no oil in the exhaust and drainage, but sometimes a small amount of oil is contained in the atmosphere, and a small amount of oil may adhere to the parts during manufacturing.

  • The gas discharged from the compressor includes dust in the atmosphere, various gases, wear powder on sliding parts, rust and water droplets in the gas tank, etc.

  • Rust is also contained in the gas exhausted from the gas tank, so be sure to perform exhaust and drainage operations every day. (Otherwise it will cause the exhaust cock to be blocked)

  • If it is used in important manufacturing equipment, when the compressor stops or fails due to the operation of the protective device, please prepare a spare or replacement device to deal with it.

  • It is not suitable for places requiring special maintenance and management, such as nuclear energy-related facilities, or places with high requirements for reliability.

2. About the setting place

  • Avoid places exposed to direct sunlight or rain, and install in places free from dust, corrosive gases, and toxic gases. (Otherwise it will cause shortened compressor life, failure, damage or fire etc.)

  • The main body of the compressor is not dust-proof, so do not use it in places with a lot of cement, sand and dust.

4. About the use

  • Please read the instruction manual carefully before use in order to use it correctly.

  • Alteration of the product or parts is strictly prohibited. (Otherwise not only the original performance cannot be brought into full play, but also the service life of the compressor will be reduced or fire accidents will be caused.)
