Iwata Air Compressor daily inspection and maintenance operation instructions

The following items of Iwata Air Compressors need to be inspected regularly.

The inspection cycle shall be subject to the table below. However, the inspection cycle shown in the table is determined according to the standard use conditions, so if the use conditions are severe, please shorten the inspection cycle. The standard operating conditions mean that the ambient temperature is below 40°C, and the annual average temperature is below 30°C, and the working hours are 8 hours a day and 2500 hours a year. For other content, please refer to Installation Notes.

  • For example, when operating continuously for 24 hours and working 200 days a year, the inspection cycle should be shortened to half of the cycle in the table.

  • The standard period of inspection is not equal to the guarantee period.

  • Those marked with * in the inspection essentials indicate that the problem is difficult for customers to deal with. In this case, you should contact customer service.

  • Filter cleaning and replacement

(2) Remove the filter element.

(3) Use compressed air to clean.

(4) When the fouling is serious, please replace the filter element.

Check whether there is any abnormal noise caused by slipping during operation and pneumatic operation.

  • Confirm ventilation fan (compressor)

Check whether the ventilation fan rotates normally for exhaust when the compressor is running.

  • Safety valve (compressor)

Lift the safety valve spool near the highest pressure, and confirm whether there is air ejection.

Precautions when disassembling

  • Please arrange the disassembled parts neatly in order to ensure correct and smooth assembly.

  • Please handle with care during operation to prevent injury or deformation of the moving surface, protective surface and contact surface of each component.

  • Do not hold the blades of the resin fan to rotate them, or tighten or loosen the bolts while holding the blades. Otherwise, it may directly cause damage to the fan, or cause it to be damaged during operation.
