The following are the common faults and solutions of the Brook Viscometer:
This is a very common failure. The steel tip and jewel seat are used to support the weight of the sensor, shaft and rotor of the viscometer. Under normal circumstances, it should be smooth and have low friction. However, due to the long-term contact between the two or careless operation, the steel tip will be worn Damage to the surface of the gem seat will cause the surface of the gem seat to become uneven, so that the contact between the two will not be a point but a surface, which will increase the frictional resistance and affect the accuracy of the instrument. On the operation display of the instrument, there will be a phenomenon that the torque is not "0" after the power is turned on (the dial shows that the pointer is not at "0").
It may be caused by the shaft being bumped or deformed after being used for a long time. This faulty instrument shows that when the rotating shaft is idling at 100RPM, the rotating shaft shakes a lot. Generally, if the rotating shaft deviates from the axis center by more than 0.8mm, it needs to be repaired and replaced.
This situation is due to long-term use and long-term pressing of keys, which makes the keys lose their function and be damaged.
This is because the customer did not remove the rotor from the shaft before automatic zero calibration, or the rotor has been immersed in the sample.
This is caused by improper matching of the rotor or speed selected for measurement.
Because some customers use unstable power supply, the instantaneous voltage is too large, and the power board or display board is burned out, resulting in failure to boot or display data. At this time, a new circuit board needs to be replaced.
