Mechanical Properties of Coatings

Abstract: 这篇文章探讨了涂料的机械性能,包括硬度、冲击强度和柔韧性。涂料的机械性能在涂层干燥并牢固后才能体现。硬度通过一定质量的摆的振幅衰减比值来表示(如≥0.5),冲击强度用MPa或kgf/cm²表示,柔韧性用“mm”表示。选择涂料时应根据涂装对涂层机械性能的要求。通常来讲,硬度比值大、冲击强度≥5MPa、柔韧性≤1mm的涂料被认为具有较好的机械性能。

Coatings should all have certain mechanical properties. Mechanical properties include hardness, impact strength and flexibility. The hardness, impact strength and flexibility of coatings can only be truly reflected after an actually dry and firm coating is formed on the surface of the product. Hardness is expressed as a pendulum of a certain quality, the "ratio" of the attenuation event at the specified oscillation amplitude (eg ≥ 0.5), the impact strength is expressed in Mpa (or kgf/cm ²), and the flexibility is expressed in "mm". Coatings should be selected according to the quality requirements of the product coating on the mechanical properties of the coating. The hardness ratio is large, the impact strength is 5MPa, and the flexibility is within 1mm, which is basically a coating variety with good mechanical properties.
