Modified Calcium Ash Powder Technology Coating Production Process

1. Production of oxidized starch glue:

① Add the water in the formula into the mixing bucket (take tap water three times the weight of caustic soda and add it to other mixing buckets, add caustic soda, stir to dissolve completely, and set aside). Then add ferrous sulfate into the above mixing bucket, start the mixer, stir and disperse ferrous sulfate (firstly grind ferrous sulfate into fine powder) and dissolve in water, at this time, the water turns slightly yellow. Add the cornstarch in the formula to the slightly yellowish aqueous solution that is stirring. Stir continuously for 5 minutes to fully wet and disperse the starch. After 5 minutes, add the dissolved caustic soda aqueous solution into the stirring starch slurry, and with stirring, the starch slurry slowly becomes a thick liquid. Stir continuously for about 15 minutes, and the glue begins to become a flowable glue. At this time, add the hydrogen peroxide specified in the formula. After stirring continuously for 10 minutes, the glue is oxidized and thinned. At this time, the foam increases greatly. You can add a few drops of three Butyl fat eliminates foam. With the prolongation of stirring time, the oxidation deepened continuously. When sticking glue with bamboo sticks, the glue can flow down in a glue line and is very soft, if there is a viscometer (apply 4 cups) to measure the viscosity and reach 40-60 seconds, you can add 10% concentration of sodium thiosulfate that has been dissolved in advance. Aqueous solution, after stirring evenly, add the pre-melted borax aqueous solution (5% concentration), stir fully, make the glue undergo complexation treatment, stir for 10 minutes, then add the stabilizer polyacrylamide 1% aqueous solution, stop the machine after stirring evenly , the output material can be used to produce paint after standing in the glue storage barrel for 24 hours. Production of sodium thiosulfate, borax, polyacrylamide aqueous solution in production:

① Preparation of sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution: Take 45 kg of tap water and add it to a bucket, add 5 kg of sodium thiosulfate, stir and dissolve to form 50 kg of 10% aqueous solution, and set aside.

②Preparation of borax aqueous solution: Generally, it is done on the eve of temporary addition of borax aqueous solution, because borax is easy to dissolve in hot water above 80°C, and borax will crystallize and precipitate when the temperature drops after melting. Method: First take 19 kg of hot water above 80°C and add it to a container, add 1 kg of borax, and stir to fully dissolve it. Then keep it warm and store it for later use.

③Preparation of polyacrylamide aqueous solution: Take 7 kg of tap water in a container, stir the water, sprinkle 0.7kg of polyacrylamide into the stirring water in a "powder form)", stir for about 20 minutes after adding, to make it dissolve completely. Generally, it can be melted a day or two in advance for later use.

2. Coating production process:

First, modify the ash calcium powder: according to the formula, add 120 kg ash calcium powder and 90 kg water into the mixing tank, and stir it into a uniform slurry with a mixer. Then finely grind the alum and sodium fluoride, turn it into a solution with 20 kg of boiling water, add it to the slurry and stir well. Stir for about 40 minutes to discharge. Add the oxidized glue specified in the formula into the paint mixing tank, start the mixer, stir the glue, add the paint color paste, and stir well. Then add the light calcium and talcum powder in the formula separately, after adding, stir continuously for about 50 minutes to make the coating very soft and free of dry powder, slowly add the modified ash calcium powder slurry and stir (not once enter). Fully stir for 60 minutes to make a soft coating, and add tributyl fat to eliminate foam before stopping stirring. If there is a Grinder, the paint can be fed into the Grinder and ground to below 100 microns to obtain the product. If there is no Grinder, it can be manually forced to filter with a 120-mesh fine screen with a brush.

Precautions

1. The oxidized starch glue in this product can be stored more at a time, because this glue can be used for two months under sealed conditions.

2. The sodium thiosulfate and polyacrylamide aqueous solution in the formula can be stored for a long time, so you can make more at a time and store it for later use.

3. This product is generally painted twice to survive.

4. The ferrous sulfate in the formula of this product can be reduced a little to increase the whiteness.

5. Due to the high content of ash calcium in this product, a small test should be done before adding the paint color paste. 6. The calcium hydroxide content in ash calcium powder should be more than 90%. 7. Small tests should be done before mass production, and production can be started after all aspects are satisfied.
