Taber® Abrasers: Applicable Abrasion and Related Test Methods

This is a partial list of applicable national and international test methods and codes for Taber® Abrasers and is generally for wear, abrasion, scratch, rub and rub tests.

Each listed ASTM method has a specific link to the ASTM website that provides a brief summary, or overview of the method and information on obtaining a copy.

Also, it's important to note that many US Military Specifications (MILs) are not actively supported by the US Department of Defense (DoD), despite their printing and not being withdrawn. Users of the MIL specification are advised to investigate the availability of alternative or parallel methods provided by other organizations.
