Common faults of electric blast Drying Oven

The electric Forced Air Drying Oven is a box-type drying equipment, also known as a Drying Oven. It is mainly used in factories, colleges, chemical, medical and scientific research units for drying and baking heat treatment of non-flammable, explosive and non-volatile materials. , disinfection and moisturizing.

Operating environment requirements: temperature (5-35) ℃, humidity ≤ 85% RH, no strong vibration around, no corrosive gas and flammable and explosive gas.

However, due to the limited production environment of the enterprise, it is inevitable that it will have an impact on the instrument life and performance index of the Drying Oven, thereby interfering with the normal production and testing process. In order to improve work efficiency, proficiency in Drying Oven failures and troubleshooting methods has become a skill required by employees in the production and testing process .

Common faults and troubleshooting methods of electric Forced Air Drying Oven are as follows:

▲Does not heat up

① The set operating temperature of the instrument has not been adjusted properly

Troubleshooting method: When the set operating temperature of the instrument is lower than the ambient temperature value , the device will not work. Please adjust the meter to set the working temperature.

②The heating switch is not turned on

Remedy: Select and turn on the heating switch .

③Poor contact of the heating wire contact or the heating wire is broken

Troubleshooting method: If the heating wire is not in good contact, please tighten the contact nut of the heating wire. If the heating wire is broken, the heating wire needs to be replaced.

④Relay (or contactor) contacts are in poor contact

Remedy: Clean the contacts of the relay (or contactor).

⑤ Sensor open circuit

Remedy: Turn on the sensor circuit.

⑥Instrument damage

Remedy: replace the meter.


▲After the temperature reaches the set value, it still rises sharply

①Sensor short circuit

Remedy: Eliminate the short circuit fault of the sensor or replace the sensor.

②The meter is damaged

Remedy: replace the meter.

③ Improper adjustment of the temperature protection switch

Remedy: Adjust the alarm temperature value of the thermal protection switch strictly according to the instructions .

④Relay (or contactor) contacts have been corroded

Remedy: replace the relay (or contactor).


▲The temperature fluctuates too much

① The ambient temperature changes too much

Remedy: Improve the environmental conditions and avoid excessive changes in the ambient temperature.

②The power supply voltage changes too much

Remedy: Take voltage stabilization measures.

③Instrument control is slow

Remedy: Repair or replace the meter.


▲Poor temperature uniformity

①The blower motor does not rotate

Troubleshooting method: Troubleshoot the electrical circuit failure of the blower motor.

② The test product is loaded too densely

Remedy: The test product should be loaded according to the instruction manual to ensure the normal circulation of hot air in the working room.

③Hot air leakage

Remedy: Adjust the height of the door sealing strip in the door slot to a proper position.

④ Improper adjustment of the air outlet

Remedy: adjust according to the working temperature and the density of the sample.


▲Ⅲ,Ⅳ type cabinets are electrified

The phase of the external three-phase four-wire power line does not match the equipment

Remedy: Please connect the external power supply according to the phase marked on the device.
