Summer is coming, and the weather temperature increases accordingly. Under the conditions of high temperature environment, there is a lot of dust, humidity, noise and interference; in such an environment, there are bound to be many unfavorable factors for the trace moisture analyzer. Here is a brief introduction to you one time:
(1) If the ambient temperature is higher than 60 degrees, it will have a great impact on the Karl Fischer electrolyte. The first is the volatility of the reagent. At high temperature, the reagent will volatilize in large quantities, resulting in loss. Secondly, the temperature is too high during the electrolysis of water by the instrument. It will have a certain impact on the electrolysis time, speed, repeatability and stability of the instrument.
(2) The use environment is poor, the external interference increases, the signal acquisition and transmission of the measuring electrode are difficult, and the anti-interference ability is weakened, resulting in inaccurate determination of moisture by the instrument.
(3) The electronic components of the main board of the trace Moisture Meter exceed their heat resistance, and the heat resistance is weakened. At the same time, the heat radiation is enhanced, and it is easy to burn some electronic components, resulting in unstable performance of the main board of the instrument.
(4) The air moisture in the high-temperature and high-humidity environment increases, and the probability of the sample absorbing moisture increases, and the measurement results will have a large error, resulting in inaccurate measurement.
In a high temperature environment, the use of the trace moisture analyzer will have various uncertain factors. Therefore, it is recommended that the user place it in a laboratory with air conditioning, and turn on the air conditioner to cool down and dehumidify before measuring the sample to avoid high temperature interference on the instrument.
