How to solve the instability of trace Moisture meter reagents

In the trace moisture test of the trace moisture analyzer, the reagents will be unstable. At this time, how should we solve this problem.

1. During use, due to high air humidity, frequent sample preparation or solid sample preparation, the reagent is not easy to reach the end point, which is a common problem in experiments. As the air humidity is high and the reagents are not easy to reach the end point when making solid samples, the electrolytic cell can be shaken to absorb the moisture in the internal space of the electrolytic cell, so that it can reach the end point quickly.

2. If the reagent is not easy to reach the end point when the sample is frequently made or the reagent is close to failure, you can inject an appropriate amount of pure water to adjust the sensitivity of the reagent so that it can reach the end point faster.

3. After the reagent has been used for a long time, the reagent is not easy to reach the end when the iodine in the reagent is consumed too much and close to failure. At this time, a new reagent should be replaced as soon as possible. If there is no new reagent and the test sample is urgently needed, you can temporarily inject an appropriate amount of pure water to adjust the sensitivity of the reagent and promote it to reach the end point. The measured results at this time can only be used as a reference.

Unstable reagents will lead to large deviations in measurement results. Therefore, special attention must be paid when using a trace moisture analyzer for testing. Once this situation occurs, it must be resolved according to the above methods.
