Which probes is the PosiTector host suitable for? A table tells you

The PosiTector main unit accepts a variety of PosiTector probes, easily converting a coating Thickness Gauge into a surface profiler, dew point meter, soluble salt Tester, Hardness Tester and ultrasonic Thickness Gauge.

DeFelsko is constantly improving and expanding its PosiTector platform, and new probes are sometimes difficult to integrate with older hosts. The chart below is a quick reference for determining compatibility by measuring specific serial numbers. This serial number is printed inside the console casing and is also displayed on the console information screen (console menu > Settings > console information).


Note: If a "Not Supported" message is displayed and the graph indicates that the probe and gage bodies are compatible, the host may need to be updated.
