This paper mainly analyzes the influencing factors of accurate measurement of Brinell Hardness Tester from four parts: sample, Hardness Tester, environment and operation, and proposes solutions. The characteristics of the Brinell hardness test are that the indentation is relatively large, and it is difficult to test the finished product. Compared with the Rockwell hardness test, domestic testing is more complicated, and the testing operation and indentation detection are time-consuming. Protrusions, depressions or smooth transitions will generally cause relatively large errors in the measurement of the indentation diameter, so the operator is required to have skilled testing techniques and rich experience, and generally requires a dedicated experimenter to operate.
