Introduction to the Spreader method

One of the keys to successfully manufacturing coated products is choosing the right coating and method. There are about 20 major coating techniques that can be used to apply the solution to the web. Each of these technologies has many specialized configurations. So there are many coating methods to choose from. Subsequent chapters provide more detailed procedures for the main techniques, Figure 1.1 shows the many methods of applying liquids n This chapter lists a guide to the selection of good application methods for coating a product.
