Spot color ink formulations include light ink formulations and dark ink formulations. All inks made by adding a diluent to the original ink are light-colored inks. When mixing, the diluent is mainly used, and the primary color ink is supplemented. Note:
1) Select the appropriate diluent according to the color sample;
2) Determine the proportional relationship between the original ink and the diluent according to the chromatogram and the original;
3) Add the selected primary color ink in order from light color to dark color;
4) Add ink in order from large to small according to the deployment ratio;
5) After mixing evenly, use a scraper to scrape a small color sample and compare it with the original, or slap the ink on the paper (that is, dip the ink with the same volume as the mung bean and put it on the paper, and then cover it with another piece of paper Compare the ink above);
6) Use inks of different colors as little as possible, otherwise the glossiness of the prepared ink will be reduced and the ink will be dark;
7) It is better to use the same paper for the sample as the printing paper. When observing the color draft and the sample, it needs to be carried out under the same standard light source.
The deployment method of dark ink is basically the same as that of light ink, but attention should be paid to:
1) The main color is used as the main ink, supplemented by other inks. When mixing, first analyze the light and dark relationship between the main color ink and the auxiliary color ink, then weigh the ink, put the main color ink on the ink mixing table, slowly add the auxiliary color ink and stir evenly, and then observe the difference with the original color sample by comparison , until it matches.
2) Select the ink whose hue is close to the requirement, and carry out the ink. According to the principle of color reduction, the mixed color will become darker, the more the number of primary color inks, the darker the color, and the lower the brightness and vividness of the color. Therefore, when mixing inks, it is necessary to choose the color inks that are similar to the color requirements to avoid the mixing of multiple color inks. For example, dark brown is generally prepared with red ink and yellow ink with a little black ink.
3) Pay attention to the color cast of the ink. Inks usually have some color cast, such as reddish, blue, yellowish, etc. When mixing inks, the color cast of each color ink must be well controlled.
Problems that should be paid attention to when mixing inks of various colors
When mixing spot color inks, in addition to following the operating procedures, you also need to pay attention to the following points:
1) Ink dispensing utensils such as ink knife, 淠ǎê school ⑻炱 drop τ stuffy? Drag blowing cherry? working environment and develop good operating habits.
3) Keep the remaining ink sent back from the machine, do not let it dry and crust, for future use. It's better to pour some varnish into the remaining ink, and then cover it with oiled paper.
4) When looking at the hue with a paper twist, the paper to be printed should be viewed under a standard light source or natural light.
5) When mixing ink, do not use an ink knife with colored ink to scoop out ink or auxiliary materials of another color.
6) When using ink in barrels or boxes, do not dig out casually with an ink knife, but dig out layers on the surface.
7) Do not blindly add other auxiliary materials to the ink.
8) For the ink with a large amount, it is better to add the desiccant immediately, and add as much as you use, so as to ensure the quality.
9) Record the ratio of ink blending in time, so as to facilitate the blending of ink in the next printing.
