Tinplate is also known as tin-plated iron. Tinplate is a common name for tin-plated thin steel plate. It refers to cold-rolled low-carbon thin steel plate or steel strip plated with commercial pure tin on both sides. Tin mainly plays the role of anti-corrosion and anti-rust. According to the problem of "white spot" defects on the surface of tinplate in the production process of tinplate, solutions are proposed. This article mainly introduces the reasons and solutions for the analysis and comparison of "white spot" defects on the surface of tin-plated iron through scanning electron microscope, metallographic microscope and other testing instruments. The method, after testing related solutions, effectively reduced the "white spot" defect problem. Tinplate, or tinplate, refers to a cold-rolled low-carbon thin steel plate coated with commercial pure tin on both sides. It combines the strength and formability of steel with the corrosion resistance and weldability of tin. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high strength, good ductility and beautiful appearance. It is widely used in food, beverage, chemical, coating and other products. packaging [1]. The surface quality of tinplate has always been the main focus of tinplate manufacturers, and its technical requirements for the upstream process - substrate production are very strict. In this paper, a series of analyzes are carried out on the surface "white spot" defects that appear on the tinplate from steelmaking to tin plating, which provides a reference for the control of "white spot" defects [2].
