Selection of Air Compressor models

1. Decide to use the pressure kg/cm2G

The exhaust pressure of the Air Compressor, in addition to the actual pressure, also needs to add the pressure drop of the air delivery pipeline and the purification system.

2. Determine the actual air volume l/min

The choice of air volume should consider factors such as air expiration date, peak peak air volume, air storage capacity, possible leakage, and future expansion plans. Generally, it is advisable to use about 20% more than the actual amount.

3. Select the model to use

After the above two decisions are made, the applicable model can be selected according to the green standard specification of this model. (Please pay special attention: the selection should be made according to the "actual displacement" under the working pressure). Generally speaking, single stage x0.65 and double stage x0.8 are the actual displacement. Please refer to the model specification table.

4. Equipped with the required motor

Match the required motor according to the selected Air Compressor model and operating environment. Such as single-phase 110V or three-phase 220V or 380V, etc.

5. Others

For Fusheng brand air-cooled Air Compressors, please use three-phase motors above 2Hp (inclusive). For motors using three-phase power supply, if it is a fully automatic type, please install an electromagnetic switch to avoid damage to the motor.

6. Decide how to operate

According to the use situation, choose the appropriate operation mode.

1) Semi-automatic type

The semi-automatic series uses a pressure control valve to control the empty and heavy trucks of the Air Compressor. When the system pressure reaches the set pressure upper limit (for example: 7.0kg/cm2G), the pressure control valve opens and pushes the suction unloader to make the Air Compressor run without load. When the system pressure drops to the set pressure lower limit (eg: 6.0kg/cm2G), the pressure control valve switches to make the Air Compressor resume heavy-duty operation. Semi-automatic operation mode, suitable for occasions with high usage rate of compressed air.

2) Fully automatic type

The fully automatic series uses a pressure switch to control the stop and operation of the Air Compressor. When the system pressure reaches the set pressure upper limit (7.0kg/cm2G), the pressure switch will act, which will automatically cut off the power of the motor and stop the Air Compressor. When the system pressure drops to the set lower limit (5.0kg/cm2G), the pressure switch will automatically turn on the power to restart the motor and the Air Compressor will resume operation. Fully automatic operation mode, suitable for intermittent work. In order to protect the motor and electromagnetic switch, the number of starts of the Air Compressor should not exceed six times per hour.
