ANLELIS DO410 Benchtop dissolved Oxygen Meter Concise operation guide

● Prepare:

1. Connect the power supply.

2. Install the universal electrode holder.

3. Locate the DO electrode at the bayonet position, slowly rotate and insert it, and tighten the socket nut.

4. If the temperature difference between the air temperature and the measured water body is large (>10°C), the electrode should be immersed in the measured water body for about 10 minutes, then immediately insert the electrode into the calibration sleeve for 5~6 minutes, and then calibrate. .

5. Adjust the air pressure value according to the needs (default 101.3kPa).

● Calibration:

1. Press the UNIT key to select the unit: mg/L, ppm and %.

2. Insert the dissolved oxygen electrode into the calibration sleeve, tighten the cap of the calibration sleeve, and wait for the reading to stabilize for 3 to 5 minutes.

3. Press the CAL key to enter the calibration mode. When the displayed value is stable and the icon appears, press the ENTER key to calibrate. After a few seconds, the calibration is completed and the instrument returns to the measurement mode.

● Measure:

1. Laboratory measurements

Use a stirrer to measure: Pour the water sample into a larger beaker, install the electrode on the electrode holder, and take a suitable stirring speed (to make the oxygen consumed by the dissolved oxygen electrode and the oxygen absorbed by the solution reach a balance) and turn on Mixer and measure

Try and read when the measured value is stable.

2. Field measurement

(a) Measurement in flowing water (water sample flow rate>5cm/s): insert the dissolved oxygen electrode into the water, the water surface should exceed the position of the temperature sensor on the electrode, the direction of the electrode and the water flow is 45°~75°, and slightly shake the electrode , for 3~5 min

Read after the display is stable;

(b) Measurement in a static water body: insert the dissolved oxygen electrode into the water, the water surface should exceed the position of the temperature sensor on the electrode, the electrode and the water surface are at 45°~75°, move the electrode rapidly in the water body, the moving speed is >5 cm/ s, continue for 3~5 min to read after the display is stable;

(c) Measurement in slow-flowing water bodies: follow the method of item (a), but the electrode moves at a slightly faster speed.

●Maintenance:

1. The dissolved oxygen electrode should be kept moist.

2. The surface of the salinity electrode cannot be wiped, and it can only be cleaned by shaking it in water; use warm water containing detergent or alcohol to clean the organic components on the surface of the electrode.

3. When the electrode response time is long, the measured value deviates significantly, or the sensitive membrane of the dissolved oxygen electrode is wrinkled, cracked or damaged, the diaphragm cap should be replaced in time.
