Hot-dip aluminum plating of cold-rolled steel sheets is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, petroleum, electric power, aerospace and other fields. It has very good high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and good brightness, and has sufficient material sources and concise process It is a very potential metal surface modification technology. In this paper, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy spectrum analysis (EDS) is mainly used to discuss and analyze the problem of coating spalling in the process of hot-dip aluminum plating of cold-rolled steel sheets. layer FeAl3 phase composition. The surface after the peeling of the coating was analyzed by X-ray detection. The experimental results show that the peeling of the coating occurs in the contact area between FeAl3 and pure aluminum layer, and the peeling is caused by the brittle phase FeAl3.
