The corrosion of the surface of cold-rolled steel sheet in the atmospheric environment is an electrochemical process. According to the basic principle of corrosion electrochemistry, the corrosion resistance of the surface of cold-rolled steel sheet is related to the state and potential of the surface oxide. The smaller the potential difference, the less likely to be rusted. In this paper, the corrosion resistance of cold-rolled steel sheets was discussed and analyzed by linear polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and the surface oxide of cold-rolled steel sheets was obtained by linear sweep voltammetry. The type and reduction potential of the cold-rolled steel plate were analyzed, and the relationship between it and the corrosion resistance of the cold-rolled steel plate was analyzed. From the experimental results, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the corrosion resistance of the cold-rolled steel plate by the linear polarization and electrochemical impedance method and the experimental results of the atmospheric coupon It is consistent; the corrosion resistance of the cold-rolled steel plate surface is related to the reduction potential of the particle oxide on the surface. The more negative the reduction potential, the worse the corrosion resistance. The corrosion mechanism of the cold-rolled steel plate is also discussed.
