Film preparation

In the laboratory, the wood panel samples are treated as follows before coating:

First clean the dust, stains, etc. on the wood surface, and then use 800#~1000# water sandpaper for manual dry grinding roughening treatment. The operation sequence of manual grinding is as follows:

Sand evenly on the surface of the board horizontally and then vertically until a fresh surface is exposed;

Then grind in a circular motion with a diameter of , until the grinding marks produced are only overlapping circles;

Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth, making sure the chalk is completely wiped off;

Coatings were applied to the prepared wood floor surface by wire bar applicator. Coating film thickness is controlled by different wire rods. Commonly used wire rods are: 10μm, 12μm, 15μm, 20μm, 25μm, 30μm, 40μm, 50μm, 60μm, 80μm, 100μm, etc.

Wood floor coating performance evaluation and test equipment and method reference

1. Pencil hardness test: measure the pencil hardness of the cured film according to GB/T6739-2006 (pencil hardness manual measurement method);

2. Determination of microhardness: according to ASTM E 384-08, measure the microhardness of the cured disc of the coating film;

3. Shore hardness test: According to GB/T 531-1999 (rubber pocket Hardness Tester indentation hardness test method) to measure the Shore hardness of the coated film cured disc;

4. Abrasion resistance test: according to ASTM D 3884-09 (determination of abrasion resistance of cured film;

5. Gloss test: Use Keshijia gloss meter (model: WGG60-E4) to measure the gloss of the coating surface with a projection angle of °;

6. Adhesion test: test the adhesion of the coating film on the wooden floor according to GB/T 9286-1998 (cross-cut test of paint and varnish film);

7. Flexibility test: measure the flexibility of the paint film according to the paint film flexibility test method;

8. Acid and alkali resistance test: Drop a few drops of dilute sulfuric acid solution and dilute oxygen sodium oxide solution on the surface of the cured film respectively, after placing it at room temperature, dry it with absorbent cotton dipped in ethanol, and observe whether the coating film is damaged ;

9. Scratch resistance test: Press the steel ball with 1kg weight, and scratch the coating back and forth until the coating film is partially scratched, and the scratch resistance of the coating film can be evaluated by calculating the number of times the coating is scratched;

10. Cigarette resistance test: light a cigarette and place it flat on the stone surface coated with a coating cured film, let it spontaneously ignite, use absorbent cotton dipped in ethanol to check off the smoke tar and observe whether the coating film is burned bad.
