Tintered VOC

Volatile organic compounds (volatile organic compounds) are voc. When voc reaches a certain concentration, it will cause symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, etc., and even cause seizures and coma in severe cases, and damage the liver, kidneys, brain system. , causing serious consequences such as memory loss. In the atmospheric environment, voe can participate in photochemical reactions, form smog, generate toxic oxidants, cause air quality to deteriorate, and have genotoxicity and carcinogenicity.

VOC in water-based color paste mainly comes from co-solvents and various functional additives. Commonly used co-solvents such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc. belong to voc, and there are two types of functional additives :

One is that the additive itself is VOC, such as some organic amine pH regulators, dispersants, wetting agents, etc., and the other is that the additive itself is not voe, but commercially available solvents or other compounds containing voe components components. It is worth noting that the definition of voc in various countries has not yet been fully agreed , and the detection methods of various industries are also different, so specific analysis needs to be carried out for different countries and industries.
