The following points are worth noting when using the color wheel.
①The pressure between the rubber roller and the anilox roller should be adjusted properly. If the pressure is too high, the two rollers will be stuck during the pattern making, and the rotation will not work, it is difficult to print a uniform color sample, or the ink layer is too thin; if the pressure is too small, there will be a gap between the two rollers, and the pattern will be broken Ink leakage occurs, or the evaluation of ink color is affected due to the ink layer being too thick.
②Clean the color development wheel immediately after printing a plate, and dry it with a clean dry cloth, otherwise the ink will quickly dry and conjunctival on the color development wheel. It is not easy to clean the clogged anilox roller, which will affect the color development wheel Normal use shortens its lifespan.
③When two kinds of wet color samples are drawn side by side on the color development wheel, the distance between the wet samples should be controlled at 1-2 cm, and the amount of ink used should not be too much 0.3~0.6g (if the color development wheel is large, the amount can be adjusted) increase accordingly). If the distance between the two wet samples is too large, the distance between the two printed color bands will be relatively far away, and the color difference between the two wet samples cannot be accurately evaluated. On the contrary, if the distance between the wet samples is too small, it will occur when making the plate. The phenomenon of ink stringing and ink mixing leads to two wet samples mixed together and cannot be distinguished. A good pattern-making effect is that the two printed color bands are closely connected without gaps or obvious junctions.
④Appropriate force and uniform speed when making the plate. The angle between the color wheel and the plate-making paper is preferably around 45'C. The color sample to be printed requires uniform ink layer and consistent ink color before and after.
