Viscometer Small Sample Adapter Installation Method and Instructions for Use

When there are few liquid samples to be tested, a small amount of sample adapter should be selected. The adapter includes: one connecting hook; one connecting rod; one set of rotors (one for No. 21, No. 27, No. seat one. Read the "Rotational Viscometer Instruction Manual" carefully before use and complete the installation of the viscometer. When in use, take the parts of the adapter out of the special storage box and assemble them according to the following requirements and steps (refer to the figure on the left below) and then measure.

1. First connect the connecting hook and the connecting rod, and then connect the large open end of the connecting rod with the selected rotor. In order to reduce the measurement error, the connecting direction of the connecting rod and the rotor should be as shown in the lower right figure;

2. Link the connecting hook with the rotating shaft of the host, first lift the rotating shaft upwards with your left hand and pinch it tightly, then pinch the connecting hook with your right hand, (looking down) connect the two clockwise and tighten them gently;

3. Place the measuring cylinder on the center of the adjusting seat stably and tighten the three screws to fix it, turn the lifting knob to lower the host slowly, move the adjusting seat so that the rotor enters the measuring cylinder smoothly, the position of the liquid level mark of the rotor is slightly lower than that on the measuring cylinder The end face, keep a certain distance between the bottom of the rotor and the inner bottom plane of the measuring cylinder. Carefully adjust the level adjusting bolt of the adjusting seat so that the level bubble in the vial on the adjusting seat is at the center position, and at the same time slightly move the adjusting seat so that the rotor is at the center of the measuring cylinder to avoid friction between the rotor and the inner wall of the measuring cylinder. If equipped with a constant temperature Water Bath, a hose can be used to connect it to the water inlet and outlet on the side of the measuring cylinder, and the temperature of the liquid to be measured can be adjusted through circulating water to reduce the measurement error;

4. Pour 10-20ml of the measured liquid into the measuring cylinder until the liquid level is equal to the liquid level mark on the rotor;

5. Enter the rotor number and set the speed according to the fifth, sixth and eighth requirements and methods of Article 7 of the "Rotary Viscometer Instruction Manual" and press the <Measurement> key to measure the viscosity of the liquid to be measured (the torque is between 20% and 90%) The measured value is an effective value).
