Installation Notes

1 3.1 Installation method

Plug and play, no other fixing method required.

2 3.2 Precautions for installation

a. The alarm should be installed in the same room as the stove;

b. It is forbidden to install in places directly affected by the exhaust gas, oil fume, steam, etc. generated by the stove;

C．Do not install near the air outlet, window, exhaust fan and other places with large air volume;

d. It is forbidden to install near bathrooms, hot water rooms and places that need to be cut off at night;

e. It is not suitable to install this alarm in places where the temperature is above -10°C or 55°C;

f. There should be no barriers between the alarm and the gas equipment to prevent the alarm from being in contact with the gas to be tested;

g. Do not install in corners, cabinets, ceilings, etc. where the air is not easy to circulate;

j. Do not install in a room that is being renovated or has been ventilated for less than 10 days after decoration;

k．Do not install in a room that has just built or purchased new wooden furniture and has been ventilated for less than 5 days.

3 3.3 Installation position

The alarm is installed about 1.5 meters away from the stove or gas leakage source; in the vertical direction, the distance from the stove should be greater than 0.5 meters, and the distance from the ceiling should be greater than 0.3 meters.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the alarm, it is recommended to maintain the alarm according to the following methods:

1. Please strictly follow the product instruction manual to install, operate and maintain the alarm correctly;

2. It is recommended to conduct a self-test on the alarm every month: that is, press the self-test button under normal working conditions to ensure that the alarm can perform voice alarms normally;

3. It is recommended to clean the alarm shell every quarter, clean the dust and oil in the air inlet of the alarm, and ensure that the air intake of the alarm smooth and the alarm sound is normal. When cleaning, it is advisable to use a semi-dry towel, not to use alcohol, banana water and other chemical solvents or very wet towels to clean;
