How to use immersion viscosity cup

Immersion Viscosity Cup is one of the simple methods to detect fluid viscosity. The use of immersion Viscosity Cup is as follows:

1. A suitable solvent should be used to wipe it clean before and after using the Viscosity Cup.　

2. The outflow time is better controlled between 20 and 80 seconds, and the appropriate cup number is selected. (Different brands and different cup numbers have different outflow times, please confirm carefully)

3. Immerse the cup body in the container for 1 to 5 minutes, so that the cup body reaches thermal balance, and lift the cup body vertically from the raw materials. The action needs to be fast and stable.

The calculation time starts from the upper end of the cup body leaving the liquid level. When the liquid flows out, the cup body should be kept vertical and the distance from the liquid level should not exceed 150mm.

Stop counting when the first breakpoint occurs. At this time, the number of seconds of outflow time represents a certain viscosity value. The difference between the two measured values should be less than 5% of the average value. Multiple measurements and comparisons will make the measurement results more accurate.
