(1) Classification by test purpose
According to the purpose of the test, the packaging test is divided into three types: comparative test, evaluation test and exploratory test.
① Contrast test It is a simple test method to conduct a comparative test between the newly designed packaging and the original packaging. Through the comparative test, not only can it be judged whether the performance of the newly designed packaging is better than that of the original packaging, but also the degree of difference .
②Evaluation test simulates the circulation process and use conditions of packages, packaging containers or materials, and evaluates .
③Explore experiments to collect some existing packaging materials or packaging structures, conduct some experiments, and find out those with suitable performance for packaging design. Exploratory tests can also be used in some basic research, such as performing specified performance , and then compiling the test results into a book or inputting them into a database for review by packaging workers.
(2) Classification by test form
This classification is mainly applicable to packaging containers and packages.
①Single test only conducts a certain test in a series of tests, but the same sample and test intensity,
Repeat multiple times; it is also possible to conduct multiple tests on the same sample by gradually increasing the test intensity. single test
It is generally used to test and evaluate the protection ability of a package against a specific hazard factor, and is usually used for scientific research or analysis of the cause of a package damage accident. For individual tests, temperature and humidity preconditioning should be carried out before testing.
②Multiple tests are sequential . Multiple tests are generally used to inspect and evaluate the protection ability of packages in the whole circulation process. For multiple tests , firstly, the test items should be determined according to the actual situation of the hazards encountered in each link in the circulation process; then , the tests should be arranged reasonably according to the order in which the hazards appear.
③Comprehensive test The test in which two or more hazard factors act on the package at the same time belongs to the comprehensive test. It is generally used for inspection and evaluation of two or more packages. The comprehensive protection ability , such as high-temperature stacking test, stacking vibration test, low-temperature vertical impact drop test, etc. of packages.
(3) Classification by test object
①Test method for paper and cardboard
②Plastic film test method
③Packaging container test method
④ Test methods for cushioning packaging materials.
⑤Test methods for general transport packages
⑥Test method for large transport packages
⑦Test methods for packages of dangerous goods
⑧Tray test method
⑨Container test method
